Game Over #8

The eighth volume of Midam and Adam's Game Over series sends its hapless little hero somewhere decidedly chilly — the cover plants him in a frozen, icy landscape, wide-eyed and tongue-out beside a snow-dusted "EXIT" sign, looking every bit as lost as the title Cold Case suggests. It's a wonderfully absurd image that captures the series' signature brand of cartoon comedy, with icicles, ice formations, and what appear to be a couple of tiny creatures lurking in the snowy background adding to the fun. Fans of the series and newcomers alike will find this 2012 Ballon release an inviting and visually lively entry in the long-running gag-adventure saga.
