The fourth volume of Midam and Adam's Game Over series arrives with a cover that perfectly captures the series' absurdist humor — a hapless wizard in a pointy hat peers down nervously from the top of the "Game Over" logo, while below, all that remains of some poor unfortunate is a gory splatter of tentacles, a detached eyeball, and scattered debris. That single word — "Oeps!" — says everything you need to know about how badly things have gone. Published by Dupuis in 2009, this is irreverent, gleefully silly comics storytelling at its best.
