The twentieth volume of Midam, Adam, and Patelin's Game Over arrives with a cover that perfectly captures the series' anarchic energy — a wild-eyed, spiky-haired character has crashed straight through what appears to be a giant spiderweb, limbs splayed and teeth bared, while a bewildered little yellow creature looks on from below. Subtitled Deep Impact, this 2021 Dupuis release promises the kind of gleeful, cartoonish chaos the series delivers so well.
