The second volume of Midam, Adam, and Augustin's Game Over sends its hapless hero into another round of gleeful mayhem — the cover says it all, with a wide-eyed, cheese-helmeted kid dwarfed by an absurd arsenal of looming weapons: a giant syringe, a nuclear canister, a massive gun barrel, and a menacing arrow, plus a startled skunk thrown into the chaos for good measure. Subtitled No Problemo, this 2006 Dupuis release captures the series' signature blend of video-game logic and cartoon absurdity in one perfectly overcrowded image. If you enjoy humor that gleefully piles on the peril, this one belongs on your shelf.
