Gambit #4
In "Cruisin'", Gambit and Marissa take a high-stakes journey down the Mississippi River, weaving through theft and tension as they head to a rock concert in Huntsville, Alabama to meet Lila Cheney. With Solarz still hunting Marissa, a dangerous alliance with rival bounty hunters escalates the threat—only for Bounty to step back, leaving Gambit and Marissa to face the storm alone. Written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Sid Kotian, with colors by Espen Grundetjern and letters by VC's Clayton Cowles, this issue captures the heat of pursuit and shifting loyalties. The cover by Whilce Portacio perfectly frames the road trip’s electric tension.
