“Shadow Rise”

In "Shadow Rise," Gambit barely survives a watery death, only to be pulled from the depths by a priest and a nun on a mysterious mission: tracking the lost angel Anielle. As they’re hunted by the relentless Sybil and her undead enforcers, Gambit must flee through the shadows—his only hope a crumbling church where Anielle might find sanctuary. Written by Howard Mackie and rendered with gritty precision by Klaus Janson, this issue blends supernatural intrigue with high-stakes survival, all under a haunting cover by Janson.
