Volume 2 of Kei Urana's Gachiakuta arrives with a striking cover featuring a pale, silver-haired figure clutching a complex, tube-laden weapon while draped in flowing robes — blue braided earrings and an intense, cold gaze making for an immediately compelling presence. The ornate dark border behind them, etched with floral and chain motifs, gives the whole image a brooding, otherworldly weight that suits the series' gritty aesthetic perfectly. With graffiti design by Hideyoshi Andou lending the logo its own raw energy, this 2024 Kodansha USA release makes a strong visual case for what has quickly become one of manga's most visually arresting ongoing series.
