# Gabby Hayes Western #9 The issue opens with "The Ornery Coyote," in which Gabby Hayes and his ward assist a swimming hole when a coyote steals their clothes and humiliates them. In the main story, Young Falcon travels to an army fort where Doc Teed obtains a serum to combat an epidemic spreading through the town of Pinebow. With time running short and the serum needed urgently, Falcon races against a dangerous windstorm to deliver the lifesaving medicine. Meanwhile, Gabby Hayes finds himself jailed and must contend with the ornery Hogarwash while attempting to maintain his dignity and secure his freedom.
