"The Drums of Death" features Gabby Hayes assisting a Native American chief whose tribe is being terrorized by an evil spirit. The chief's people are reluctant to fight back, but Gabby convinces them that fire is the only way to defeat the bad medicine. After a battle involving drums and arrows, Gabby helps defeat the spirit's forces. In a secondary story, Lanky Hanks goes on a rampage with two six-shooters, causing destruction everywhere he goes, while Gabby finishes making furniture for Lanky's new home as Pokey Roberts prepares to marry his gal.
