G.I. Joe: Roots of Retaliation #[nn]

This collection gathers the prequel comics leading into the 2013 G.I. Joe film Retaliation, bridging the gap between the first movie and its sequel. Written by Chuck Dixon with art by Will Rosado and others, the story follows Duke, Roadblock, and the rest of the team as they face a new Cobra threat while setting up the film's plot points. It includes the four-issue miniseries G.I. Joe: Retaliation – The Official Movie Prequel and the one-shot G.I. Joe: Retaliation – The Rock's Special, both published by IDW in 2012.
