G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #311

Larry Hama continues his celebrated long-running run on G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero with issue #311 from Image Comics, and Andy Kubert's cover sets an immediately kinetic tone. A heavily armed squad — including a hooded figure with an assault rifle, a black-clad fighter, a woman wielding what appears to be a chainsaw, and several other Joes — rides atop a charging tank barreling through the streets of Springfield, guns blazing in every direction. With interior art by Chris Mooneyham and colors by Francesco Segala and Sabrina Del Grosso, this 2024 installment looks like a full-throttle chapter in one of comics' longest-running military action sagas.
