G.I. Joe #7

Part of IDW's "The Fall of G.I. Joe" arc, this seventh issue carries a strikingly somber cover: a lone armored soldier walks solemnly through rows of white star-marked graves, dog tags in hand, the muted olive palette lending the scene a quiet, mournful weight. It's a departure from battlefield bombast — this is a story clearly reckoning with loss and consequence. With Traviss, Kurth, and Young steering the series in 2015, this issue looks to be one of the more emotionally grounded entries in IDW's G.I. Joe run.
