John Steven Gurney's Fuzzy Baseball Vol. 4 brings a delightfully absurd twist to the diamond — a towering T. rex in full baseball whites winds up a pitch while two small, wide-eyed fuzzy critters look on from below, thoroughly outmatched in stature if not in spirit. The title Di-No Hitters says it all, and Gurney's warm, expressive artwork makes the prehistoric versus fuzzy matchup feel both wonderfully silly and completely earnest. Published by Papercutz in 2021, this is all-ages comics charm at its best.
