Future Imperfect #3

Part of Marvel's 2015 Secret Wars event, this third issue of Future Imperfect showcases a striking cover by Greg Land — a red-skinned, blonde woman in a black-and-red costume stands her ground between two enormous gun barrels aimed squarely at her, dark particles scattering across her face as flying saucers and armored figures loom in a dystopian cityscape behind her. Looming over everything is the ghostly, glowering visage of a green-skinned giant, casting an ominous presence across the entire scene. With Peter David writing and Land's linework inked by Jay Leisten and colored by Nolan Woodard, this issue promises a world where the odds are overwhelming — and someone is still refusing to back down.
