Fused #4

The haunting cover by Ben Templesmith says everything you need to know about Fused! — a grotesque mechanical skull with a single glowing eye stares out from a burnt orange field, flanked by a row of spark plugs and handwritten text reading "like peas and carrots" and "fuse man and machine." Steve Niles and Templesmith's collaboration wraps up "Canned Heat" with this fourth installment, and the unsettling imagery makes a compelling case for the series' unique blend of body-horror tension and industrial dread. If you've been following this man-meets-machine nightmare, issue #4 is not one to skip.
