This second volume of Flying Witch continues the gentle, slice-of-life adventures of Makoto Kowata, a young witch who moves to the countryside of Aomori to complete her training. Collecting chapters from the early part of the series, the book follows Makoto as she settles into her new life with her relatives, explores the magical and mundane wonders of rural Japan, and deepens her bonds with her sister Chinatsu and the local residents. The volume maintains the series' signature blend of low-key fantasy, humor, and heartfelt everyday moments, all rendered in Chihiro Ishizuka's warm, detailed artwork.
