This December–January 1947 DC humor title serves up pure winter charm, with a grinning cartoon wolf in a striped scarf and yellow coat balancing triumphantly atop a block of ice on ice skates, arms outstretched and tail streaming behind him. A pair of smaller animal characters tumble playfully in the upper corner, adding to the seasonal slapstick energy on this cover by Rube Grossman. At just ten cents, Funny Folks #11 is a delightful snapshot of postwar funny-animal comics at their most lighthearted.
