This is an anthology collection featuring three stories: "Chubby and Chirpy," where two rotund characters embark on a country outing that devolves into slapstick chaos involving boot studs, punctured tires, and vehicular mishaps; "Further Adventures of Old Hooky," a pirate tale in which a Viking named Swordgrind pursues the legendary pirate Hook, leading to naval combat and the sinking of Hook's vessel; and "Dene Vernon," a science fiction story about an alien from the lost race of Atlantis who emerges from the ocean seeking surface dwellers to conduct experiments on, revealing advanced weaponry and threatening to conquer Earth. "Romeo" completes the issue as a humorous story about a hapless suitor attempting to impress his date through various misadventures at sea.
