This anthology issue features three naval and maritime adventure stories. "Daring Exploits with Today's Fish-Men" follows Commander Wilson and Lt. Ben Okinson of Naval Intelligence investigating a torpedo discovered aboard the Albatross disguised as cargo, which turns out to be a creation of enemy scientist Graff Osterwald containing concentrated bacteria capable of destroying New York City. "Pike's New Frog" depicts young frogman recruit Danny Bolton on his first dangerous mission alongside veterans Pike Farney and Chub O'Brien, who must rescue him when he gets into trouble during an underwater operation off Korea's coast. "Mystery Swimmer of Maine" details officials at a secret electronics laboratory on Maine's coast investigating a series of mysterious ship explosions, discovering that three merchant ships carrying valuable defense materials have been sunk within ten miles of the facility, with evidence suggesting an underwater detector may be responsible.
