Fritzi Ritz worries about the county championship ball game scheduled for that day and fears damage to her new picture window from stray balls. After boarding up the window for protection, she relaxes indoors, but Phil rings with free tickets to a show and asks her to come hold a cord while he fixes something in the backyard. Two hours later, Fritzi has forgotten about Phil entirely and is at the show with another woman when Phil desperately calls out her name from a clothesline in the backyard where he has become tangled.
