This anthology issue contains two stories. The main feature, "Crabtree Cor Courier: Again the Phantom Burglar Strikes," follows detectives investigating a robbery at Bud Teagle's pool emporium where mud tracks on the floor provide the only clue; the case leads them to examine friends' shoes for matching mud, eventually connecting to a larger mystery. The secondary story, "Mamie" by Russell Patterson, depicts a young woman named Mamie attending a football game in a coat despite her friend's warnings, only to end up frozen; her companions then debate whether to invite her on a date, with one calling her dumb for showing up underdressed.
