Part of Marvel's 2006 "Spider-Man Unmasked" banner, this third and final chapter of "I Hate a Mystery" arrives with a cover by Mike Wieringo and Mike Manley that's hard to look away from. A figure in a red spider-suit crouches defiantly amid swirling flames, while an enormous, looming presence — robed, clawed hands outstretched and a glowing orb at its center — towers menacingly overhead. Peter David, Todd Nauck, and Robert Campanella bring the mystery arc to a close, and if this striking cover image is any indication, the final confrontation is anything but quiet.
