The eleventh volume of Buche's Franky Snow sends its wide-eyed, rubber-faced hero plummeting through a bright purple sky in a gloriously chaotic freefall, with a whole crew of colorful skydivers tumbling alongside him and a plane visible in the distance above. It's a cover that perfectly captures the series' cheerful, cartoonish energy — big expressions, bouncy linework, and a sense that absolutely nothing is going to plan.
