In the shadowed valleys of French North Africa, a dead commissioner rises again—not as flesh and blood, but as a waxen figure animated by moonlight and strange, glowing plants. Returning to his niece and nephew’s home, he moves through the night with eerie stillness, tending to his garden where the moonlight fuels his unnatural existence. As the air grows thick with unseen dread, the family finds themselves caught in a silence that feels too heavy to ignore.
