The second album in Henk Kuijpers' Dutch series finds Franka at the wheel of a motorcycle with sidecar, launching dramatically off a rocky ledge above a sunny lakeside landscape — her passenger gripping on beside her as the wheels leave solid ground. Kuijpers' clean, lively ligne-claire linework gives the scene a breezy energy that perfectly suits Franka's adventurous spirit. "Het Meesterwerk" promises an engaging ride from a series that was already finding its confident stride in 1978.
