The nineteenth volume in Henk Kuijpers' long-running Dutch adventure series brings Franka back in "Het zwaard van Iskander" — a title that promises swords, history, and the kind of globe-trotting intrigue the series does so well. Kuijpers handles every creative role himself, from script and pencils to inks and lettering, with colors by Studio Leonardo rounding out the package. A fine 2006 entry for fans of European clear-line storytelling at its most personal and self-assured.
