This is an anthology issue featuring four superhero stories. The Unknown Soldier story involves a plot centered on a refrigeration plant in Europe that the Nazis have seized, with the protagonist working to prevent the enemy from using a quick-freezing process as a weapon while protecting workers and thwarting the villain Moquette. In the Captain Courageous story, the hero discovers a supposedly gentle, tied-up beast that unexpectedly attacks a coffin during a funeral, leading to suspicion and investigation of the animal's true nature and intelligence.
