Four Eyes #3
The brooding cover of Four Eyes #3 pulls you in immediately — a gaunt, intense face stares out from the darkness, blue eyes glowing with an unsettling light, while ghostly wisps of smoke curl around the figure and take the unmistakable shape of a dragon overhead. Max Fiumara's painted-style artwork lends the whole composition a haunting, atmospheric weight that feels equally at home in a Depression-era crime story and a dark fantasy. Joe Kelly and Fiumara's collaboration continues to promise something genuinely distinctive from Image's 2009 lineup.
