Forgotten Realms Comic Book #16

Part II of the "Fallen Idols" Avatar storyline arrives in this December 1990 installment of DC's Forgotten Realms, subtitled "Mad Gods and Paladins." The cover by Rags Morales dominates with a massive, moss-covered stone golem or corrupted deity looming overhead, its enormous hands clutching a fur-clad figure in golden garb, while a lone paladin in white stands resolute on rubble far below — small against the chaos but clearly unbowed. With writing by Jeff Grubb and art by Rags Morales and Dave Simons, this issue promises divine upheaval and the kind of desperate heroism that defines the best of the Forgotten Realms setting.
