Forgotten Realms Comic Book #13

DC's beloved Forgotten Realms series reaches its thirteenth issue with "Trial: Part Three of Triangles," and the cover — penciled by Rags Morales and inked by Dave Simons — sets the stakes with striking clarity: a massive gray hand thrusts forward a warrant for the arrest of Dwalimor Omen for "high crimes against the Netyarchy of Halruaa," while a bare-chested warrior, a white-bearded elder with a gem on his brow, and a winged blond figure look on with varying degrees of tension. Writer Jeff Grubb's TSR-licensed world continues to translate the rich Faerûn setting into compelling sequential storytelling, and this courtroom-charged chapter promises the kind of political intrigue that makes the Realms feel genuinely alive.
