# Flying Saucers #1 This anthology issue contains at least two science fiction stories. The lead story, "The Unguished Landing," follows Professor Lanning, who discovers that an alien spacecraft has crashed, and the humanoid alien occupants plan to destroy Earth's scientific knowledge and civilization using advanced weaponry and a doomsday device hidden beneath a mountain. In a backup story, a benevolent doctor befriends a tiger-like creature from space, only to have the animal taken away by authorities who fear its dangerous nature, though the doctor ultimately proves the creature is harmless and intelligent.
