Floor de Goede's solo-crafted Flo series continues with this sixth installment, subtitled De Dagelijkse Strijd ("The Daily Struggle") — and the cover makes that title feel entirely earned. Flo herself strides forward with a wild grin, a black eye, and a pen clutched in her fist, surrounded by crumpled paper, scattered red drops, a stray coffee cup, and what looks like a scored page — the chaotic debris of a creative (or perhaps just exhausting) day. It's a charming, scrappy snapshot of a character who clearly never does anything by half measures, all rendered in De Goede's loose, expressive linework.
