Two mismatched cops — one stocky and grinning, one lanky and anxious — lean against a white police cruiser beneath swaying palm trees in this sunny, pastel-toned opener from Pluttark and Bernstein. The subtitle Deux flics amis ("Two cop friends") sets the comedic buddy dynamic front and center, and the breezy Miami-esque backdrop promises plenty of laughs. Fluide Glacial's trademark absurdist humor looks to be in fine form in this 2018 release.
