Flashpoint: Hal Jordan #3

The concluding chapter of DC's 2011 Flashpoint tie-in finds Hal Jordan rendered in a striking close-up by cover artist J. G. Jones — a helmeted, oxygen-masked fighter pilot staring grimly forward, a blazing planet reflected in his visor as military jets streak through the orange-tinted sky behind him. It's a tense, grounded image that captures this alternate-universe version of Hal as a flesh-and-blood aviator rather than a ring-slinger.
