Jill Kane lives with her grandfather, a famous shipbuilder. Don Rowan gets a job with the company and he and Jill become friends. Wealthy Charles Becker commissions a new boat and romances Jill as well. Charles and Jill sail his new craft in the Tilton Race, with Don as their chief opponent in his own boat. Charles tries to wreck Don’s chance but his own boat is wrecked and Don has to save Jill and Charles. Jill sees that Don is the man for her.
