Judy and her widowed father operate a farm. They hope to get out of debt by winning a race with their horse “Judy’s Boy.” Neighbor Tim loves Judy but she thinks he’s romancing her so her father will sell his water rights. Tim and Judy compete in the big race; Judy’s horse is badly injured and has to be destroyed. Judy unfairly blames Tim. Sometime later, Tim presents Judy with a colt that is the offspring of his mare and “Judy’s Boy.” Judy realises Tim is sincere and what happened in the race was an accident. She and Tim will be married.
