Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville #3

Terry and Rachel Dodson's cover for this 2024 Dawn of DC series says it all with a grin: Fire (green-haired, energetic, and wielding what looks like a hair dryer like a weapon) and Ice (white-haired, composed but clearly alarmed, scissors in hand) have found themselves working at a barbershop — and their client, a blissfully oblivious Jimmy Olsen reading a Daily Planet headline about a giant ape, has no idea what chaos is unfolding above his head. Writer Joanne Starer and artist Natacha Bustos bring these two beloved Justice League International alumnae to Superman's hometown, and if this cover is any indication, the comedy is running just as high as the stakes.
