Charel Cambré launches this Dutch-language series with a cover that says it all: a raucous, wall-to-wall crowd of Belgian football supporters — tattooed fans, costumed revelers in lion suits, Viking helmets, and cowboy hats, a few cheerful blondes, and at least one soccer ball — packed together in a gloriously chaotic orange-and-brown tangle. The title Waar is dat feestje? ("Where's the party?") feels perfectly answered by Cambré's own densely detailed, caricature-rich artwork, which bristles with personality in every corner. A fun, energetic opener that wears its national pride with a big, slightly disheveled grin.
