The eighth volume of Charel Cambré's beloved Belgian series sends Filip & Mathilde soaring — quite literally — in Kop Omhoog ("Heads Up"). The cover, by Cambré himself, is a delightful sight: a caricatured, broad-nosed gentleman's enormous head doubles as a hot-air balloon, while Filip and Mathilde ride in the basket beneath him, arms wide, floating above a city skyline that includes the recognizable silhouette of the Atomium. It's a wonderfully playful image that captures the warm humor and charming absurdity that fans of this Dutch-language series have come to love.
