"Leatherneck Jack" features a Marine who becomes entangled with a beautiful woman during wartime, though she urges him to join her and flee before enemy forces close in; later, an American woman named Margaret Pierce is discovered alive despite the apparent American retreat, revealing she had been ordered to report for evacuation with the British Army in Seoul.
