Fightin' Army #78
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCharlton's Fightin' Army #78 (February 1968) puts readers right in the thick of WWII tension, with a German officer in the foreground — skull insignia on his collar — lunging forward while Allied soldiers and a tank with German markings play out a desperate scene behind him. The cover's speech bubbles crackle with the heat of a soldier crying "A Kraut! He's making a break… Halt!" while a hidden voice insists he's really an American G.I., setting up a gripping case of mistaken identity. This issue also promises another episode of "The Lonely War of Captain Willy Schultz," with cover art by Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio and interior work from the team of Charles Nicholas and Vince Alascia.
