This anthology issue contains two main stories. "The Enemy Died Twice" follows Private Walter Kelly during the Korean War, who receives devastating news that his girlfriend has married someone else while he fights on a hill. Despite the emotional blow and fierce combat against Chinese and North Korean forces, Kelly and his unit hold their position and ultimately prevail, leading to his promotion to First Lieutenant and a future reuniting with his lost love. "Raid on Stalag 14" depicts an air raid on a German POW camp where American pilots bomb the facility to prevent enemy advancement, with one pilot using evasive maneuvers to escape enemy fire and return safely to base.
