This anthology issue contains three aerial combat stories. "Der Sturmvogel" recounts the Luftwaffe's 11th Hour attempt to turn the tide of battle in World War II. "The Life Saver" depicts soldiers in the North African desert desperately rationing water from a single canteen, with one sergeant's resourcefulness in digging for water each night saving the unit's lives. "Rene de Salles' 10th Victory" follows a pilot flying a P-38 Lightning out of a New Guinea airstrip who engages Japanese zeroes in combat, with one Zero catching him in a burst that damages his aircraft.
