Fight Comics #78
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis anthology issue features Tiger Girl in "The Great Congo Diamond Robbery," in which the jungle heroine battles tiger-striped villains over a valuable diamond, and "Kayo Kirby" by Chuck Walker, a boxing story where fighter Danny Quinn agrees to a championship bout after being pressured by associates seeking to profit from his fame. A third story involving a military operation with a mysterious spacecraft and paratroop insertion is also presented.
When corrupt Commissioner Carton's schemes of extortion and tribute come to light, Tiger Girl speeds into the Congo to investigate—only to discover he's freed convicts, destroyed the district compound, and is now masquerading among the tribes in stolen uniforms. With Commissioner Harris's help, she races to sound the alarm on the legendary Devil Drum, but Carton intercepts her, binding her and Harris to the sacred drum itself as oxen drag it toward a cliff's edge. Tiger Girl must fight her way free from crocodiles, raging waters, and Carton's relentless pursuit to expose the truth and restore order to the territory.
