This anthology crime comic contains three stories. "Scorpion of Crime" features Inspector "Brains" Carroway investigating a criminal conspiracy. "Slaughter on Main Street" details how police, through the untiring efforts of a modern police force, brought two criminals known as "Rat" and "Hood" to justice after they formed an alliance to gain territory through ruthless methods. "How the Cops Smashed 'Crazy' Joe Moskey" follows law enforcement's efforts to dismantle the vice empire of mobster "Crazy Joe" Moskey, a small-time crook who rose to become a major racketeer through deceit, treachery, and stab-in-the-back tactics, culminating in his capture and the rescue of Ralph Mercer, a man caught in Jago's mob operations.
