“Time Storm! Chapter One: "You Can't Go Home Again!"”
About this Collection

This collection from AC Comics brings together key issues of the Femforce: Time Storm series, pitting classic Golden Age heroes against a rogues' gallery of villains. Featuring a lineup that includes Astron, Captain Paragon, Ms. Victory, Nightveil, and others, the volume showcases time-spanning battles and team-ups from the Femforce universe. It's a nostalgic dive into the pulp-inspired heroics and multi-character conflicts that define AC's retro style.

In "Time Storm! Chapter One: 'You Can't Go Home Again!'", Yankee Girl (Lauren Mason) finds herself adrift in the present, struggling to keep up with the modern world—until Jet Girl (Pat Carson) tries to lift her spirits. Seeking solace, Yankee Girl secretly activates Dr. Carlos Jimenez’s time machine, aiming for the 1940s, only to be thrown off course when the villainous Divine Wind—her 1940s counterpart—hurls through the portal and attacks. After a fierce clash, Divine Wind escapes back to the past with the dangerous Molecular Destabilizer, forcing Dr. Jimenez to send Yankee Girl after her. Written by Mark Heike and illustrated by Dave Roberts with inks by Chris Allen, this 1997 issue features a cover by Brad Gorby.

Yankee Girl (Lauren Mason) in the present day feels out of touch with the modern world. Jet Girl (Pat Carson) tries to boost her spirits. Yankee Girl proceeds anyway to visit Dr. Carlos Jimenez and sets the time machine to the 1940s and turns it on behind his back. She is delayed and Divine Wind, 1940s Japanese super villainess, hurls through the portal into Yankee Girl and a long battle ensues. Divine Wind gets the upper hand and returns to the past with the Molecular Destabilizer device. Dr. Jimenez insists that Yankee Girl must now go to the past to retrieve it.
