In "Mangled by the Claw!", Synn is drawn into the high-tech fortress Oceanus One, only to find herself and everyone else under the mind-control of the colossal Claw. With Synn forced to unleash her plasma powers, the world is transformed into a surreal manga-style realm, and the Claw begins its rampage through Washington. Femforce, having infiltrated Oceanus to free Synn, fights back and restores the city—but as Tara battles the giant Claw in her own enlarged form, she begins to weaken, her strength fading just as the monster's foot looms over her.
