From Dell's August–September 1950 run, this cheerful issue finds Felix lounging contentedly beneath a large orange beach umbrella, munching on a sandwich with a bottle of milk nearby — the picture of a cat enjoying a lazy afternoon. A mischievous little mouse perches atop the umbrella pole, keeping a close eye on the scene, while tiny figures splash about in the background. At 52 pages of all comics for just a dime, it's a wonderfully relaxed slice of mid-century cartoon fun.
