Fear Agent #6

The cover of Fear Agent #6 announces that "Heath Huston is the Last Fear Agent," and Tony Moore's artwork makes that tagline feel genuinely weighty — a snarling, green-skinned alien warrior fires a blazing energy cannon point-blank at a hulking mech while an armada of jellyfish-like creatures and a giant disembodied brain drift ominously through the blue void behind them. It's a wonderfully pulpy tableau that channels the best of 1950s sci-fi paperbacks while feeling completely alive on its own terms. Rick Remender, Jerome Opeña, and Michelle Madsen bring the story "From Here to Uranus" inside, and this 2006 Image series clearly has no shortage of imaginative chaos to offer.
