“Hatchet Job Part 3”

Fear Agent #19 brings the third chapter of "Hatchet Job" with a cover that throws you straight into the chaos — a rugged man in an orange jumpsuit and a blonde woman in a blue suit are hurled through a shattering environment, surrounded by crackling blue energy, while enormous alien claws reach in from the edges of the frame. Jerome Opeña's linework gives the scene a kinetic, almost three-dimensional urgency, with Michelle Madsen's warm golden explosion behind the figures contrasting sharply against those menacing dark limbs closing in. Rick Remender's sci-fi action series is firing on all cylinders here, and this midpoint of the five-part arc looks like exactly the right moment for things to get wonderfully messy.
